Social Advantage
This blog provides some of my latest thoughts on the management of people within businesses, and in particular, the 'management' of the connections, relationships and conversations between these people in order to produce effective communities or a 'society' which helps develop competitive advantage.
It deals with issues drawn from different fields ranging from public social policy to psychology; web 2.0 to business leadership; neuroscience to team development. And more besides.
I hope you enjoy it, and if you do, please leave your comments, subscribe to my RSS feed, and join the site.
My next book
Social capital increasingly provides the greatest and most sustainable source of competitive advantage that is available to a business. It is a key source of created value, which enables organisations to set new, more stretching and potentially different business goals.
So how do you manage people and the organisational environment in a way that accumulates social capital and will lead on to this success?
I’m going to be posting on this question as I start to write my next book: Social Advantage (creating competitive advantage through social capital).
